It's been just over a month since I have gotten back into the CEO
Saddle at Etelos and a lot has already transpired. This week our new Web site is live at http://www.etelos.com but that is only one of many developments.
Why the Change?
In the past few weeks, we have worked closely with a short list of enterprise partners that looked at Etelos and saw some powerful solutions under the hood. It became clear that the message of the platform is what needs to be more prominently shown and offered to other enterprises needing to move to the cloud to distribute their technology.
Well, the power of the Etelos platform and what it enables is not under the hood anymore. The Etelos Platform enables enterprises to distribute web apps and how it works is out in the open for you to see.
Now Available as a Suite of Platforms
Etelos has in my opinion always had a lot of horsepower. Now articulated in its four main solutions, the Etelos Platform Suite is a comprehensive solution for enterprises to publish and distribute Web-based applications and services for businesses, organizations and users. The four key platforms available as individual solutions or as an integrated suite.

More Changes to Process
On the operational side of the business we have relocated our headquarters in California back to Washington. We have further reduced our expenses to address concerns about the amount of capital necessary to operate the business. And most exciting of all to me is the renewed commitment to working with our partners to enable their Web app technology.
The new website is not a new message for the technology of Etelos. It's just exposing what we have been doing for years. The platform is the driving technology underneath the Etelos marketplace, the Etelos App Sync technology and more.
With the move of the headquarters back to Washington there are some more staffing changes. David MacKenzie is leaving as CFO but staying on as a consultant and adviser to the Company as we complete our quarterly filings and begin interviewing candidates for CFO in the Seattle area. With the relocation of HQ, I support his decision because it makes sense and I am glad to have his continuing support. I consider David a friend and have enjoyed working with him through this transition. He has truly been an asset to the company and will continue to be going forward.
More Stuff to Do
Other announcements the past few weeks have also included our project with Youniverz which we are excited to have the privilege to support. It's wonderful to see how enterprises are looking to the Web to revolutionize markets, collaboration and industry and we are glad to be a part of their vision.
Additionally this week we also launched two new Etelos powered solutions, NuOz and MTP. You can read my posts on them here:
About The Cloud Market
Probably the biggest news of all is that Microsoft has finally shown up to the party. They announced their cloud computing offering and we are glad to have them in the neighborhood. For more on my thoughts about this you can read this post I wrote about it this week, "Welcome to the Neighborhood Microsoft".
As the title of this post states, I am enthusiastic today and energized about the opportunities that lie ahead. Let me know any questions you may have or let us know how we can help.
